Stuffed Pizza Pockets are easy to make in your home.
Ingredients :
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 cup Peas(Matar)
- 1 cup Grated Potato
- 3/4 salt, 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 1 cup cornflakes – roughly crushed
- 2 pizza bases
- 6 tbsp ready-made mayonnaise
- 1 small onion – cut into rings
- 2 small tomatoes – dressed & sliced 4-5 lettuce leaves or 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper
Steps To Make Stuffed Pizza Pockets :
- Heat 1 tbsp butter, add peas and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Now add grated potato and cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove from fire.
- Now salt, pepper, oregano and 1 cup roughly crushed cornflakes and mix it properly.
- Blend The Cooled mixture in a mixer to a smooth paste.
- Make 8 balls with the mixture. Deep fry in hot oil till golden. Let it cool.
- Press the balls in between palms to get flattened.
- Cut a pizza into 2 pieces. Open up the pizza base from the cut side with the knife, like a
pocket. In each pizza base, spread some mayonnaise inside. Sprinkle onion rings. Arrange 2 pressed balls. Spread tomato and lettuce leaves. - Pour 1^1/2 tbsp mayonnaise with a spoon. Sprinkle salt and pepper.
- Keep on a pan or tawa and cook for 2-3 minutes on both sides. Cut into 2 pieces and serve.
