Gobi Manchurian is a popular and super delicious and tasty Indo-Chinese food lover recipe. It is one of the best starters you can have at any party. We can make it two types: Among dry and with gravy variants of it, the dry one is used as a snack.
Gobi florets deep fried in batter and then stir-fried with capsicum and ginger garlic paste.
INGREDIENTS :
- 1 Gobhi (Cauliflower- Broken into medium size florets)
- 3/4 cup Flour (Maida)
- 1 tbsp Corn Flour
- Salt as per to need the taste
- 1½ teaspoons Garlic Paste
- 2 teaspoons Ginger Paste
- 2 Green Chillies, finely chopped
- 1 large Onion, finely chopped
- 1 small Green Capsicum, finely chopped
- 1½ tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon Chilli Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Tomato Ketchup/ Tomato Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Cooking Oil
- 2 tablespoons Spring Onion, finely chopped
Steps:
- Cut the cauliflower in big florets and Boil cauliflower florets in salted water over medium flame for 3-4 minutes. After boiling, drain excess water and pat dry florets on tissue paper.
- Mix maida, cornflour, 1/4 tsp ginger, 1/4 tsp garlic paste, 1/4 tsp red chilly powder and salt using water.
Make sure that batter is not too thick or not too thin. Its thickness should be the thickness of dosa batter. - Now take a frying pan and heat oil for frying. Dip the gobi florets(pieces) in the batter and fry in the oil till golden brown. Now Take on a paper napkin and keep aside.
- Now take another pan heat oil and add the ginger & garlic paste, dried red chillies broken into pieces and add green chiles to it.
- Now fry for a minute and then add salt and chopped capsicum. A minute later add chopped spring onions.
Now add a small amount of Ajinomoto, soya sauce and tomato sauce to it. Mix well. - Add fried gobi florets and sprinkle 1 tsp cornflour and Garnish it with chopped onions. Serve gobi Manchurian hot to family and friends.
