Pasta is one of the most popular Italian recipes. Homemade pasta in white sauce is a delicious creamy pasta recipe. You can add the vegetable like corn, mushroom and too many flavoring ingredients. Ii also loved the white sauce pasta. So today I will tell you the yummy creamy white sauce pasta recipe. To make white sauce pasta recipe you need to have the fresh white sauce.
Ingredients
- ¾ cup pasta
- 1 small carrot, peeled and chopped fine
- ⅓ cup sweet corn, boiled
- ½ green bell pepper(green capsicum), chopped
- 1.5 cups chopped white button mushrooms
- ½ red bell pepper (red capsicum), chopped fine
- ½ tablespoon butter
For white sauce
- 1½ tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon maida/ all-purpose flour
- 1¼ cup milk, boiled and cooled
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon chili flakes
- salt as per need
Steps to make white sauce pasta:
- Take water in a pot to boil and add a few drops of oil and salt. Now add the pasta in the pot. Pasta has to be well cooked. Drain the pasta and rinse with the running water. Set aside the boiled pasta.
- Take a pan and heat 1/2 teaspoon butter in it. It should not burnt and brown. Add the chopped carrot, mushroom, green chopped capsicum(green bell pepper), boiled sweet corns, peeled in it. Now fry for few minutes. After it removes a plate.
- Now in the same pan add 1 and a half tablespoons butter and heat it to melt.
- Add the 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour/maida or whole wheat flour/atta and whisk well. Saute for 4 to 5 mins on a low flame.
- Pour 1 1/4 cup milk little by a little while stirring continuously with a whisk in low flame.
- When the sauce will start to thicken add the pasta. At this stage add chili flakes, pepper powder, salt and oregano.
- Keep stir till the sauce thickens and turns smooth.
- Add the sauteed vegetables and mix well. You can add the vegetable at your own choice.
- White pasta sauce will continue to thicken as it cools down. So now, serve and enjoy pasta while they are still hot.
